Mission Statement: The Oregon Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units is dedicated to promoting education and training for investigators involved in preventing and detecting insurance fraud in its many forms. The Chapter is a cooperative effort between insurance investigators, law enforcement and members of the Administration of Justice to protect the insurance consuming public.

The Chapter assists in upgrading the professional skills of its members through continuing training and other educational venues. The goal of the IASIU is to provide the insurance consumer and the insurance industry with professional investigators who can assist in the prevention of fraud and when necessary provide the law enforcement community with information regarding those who commit it. The Chapter takes the lead in exposing insurance fraud and bringing it to the light.
